Quality Assurance

Quality Assurance

Every lot is documented, traceable, and accountable.

Quality assurance is what turns great cultivation into a dependable commercial product.

Legacy’s approach to cannabis quality assurance combines product inspection, documentation, lot identification, production controls and regulatory processes to help ensure that flower released to our customers meets applicable requirements and our own expectations.

From cultivation through post-harvest preparation and commercial shipment, product is managed through defined processes designed to maintain its identity, integrity and traceability.

Lot-Level Traceability
Product identification and records maintained throughout production and commercial preparation.

Controlled Processes
Defined procedures for product handling, preparation, storage and release.

Product Documentation
Supporting records and product information maintained for commercial and regulatory requirements.

Quality Review
Product and documentation reviewed through applicable quality processes before release.

Regulatory Compliance
Operations conducted within the requirements applicable to licensed Canadian cannabis production and distribution.

For our B2B customers, this means greater visibility into what they’re buying, where it came from, and the documentation supporting it.

Quality creates the product. Quality assurance protects it.

Testing & COAs

Know what you’re buying.

In a sophisticated cannabis market, quality needs to be measurable.

Legacy uses independent analytical testing and Certificates of Analysis (COAs) to provide qualified buyers with objective, lot-specific information about the cannabis they’re purchasing. Depending on the product, market and applicable regulatory requirements, testing and documentation may include the following.

Cannabinoid Profile
Lot-specific cannabinoid results, including THC and other applicable cannabinoids.

Terpene Profile
Analysis of terpene content and dominant terpene characteristics where applicable.

Microbial Testing
Testing against applicable microbiological requirements.

Contaminant Testing
Applicable analytical testing to support regulatory and customer requirements.

Product-Specific Testing
Additional analysis where required by the customer or destination market.

Certificates of Analysis
COA documentation available for qualifying commercial lots and buyer review.

For international customers, our team also works to understand applicable destination-market testing and documentation requirements as part of the commercial and export preparation process.
